"ARC support groups. Given the circumstances of Covid-19 and now the country wide curfews to stop looters, I look to ARC for my peace of mind. Being a foster parent can sometimes feel lonely as some people don’t understand and realize what we open our hearts to when we open our homes to children that are not our own. ARC is a group that I can come to and vent. come to for resources and feel a part of something and not all alone. I appreciate the support this group has given me and the understanding and open ear my fellow colleagues welcome. Thank you for everything Marilyn and your consistency to show us support and that we are not alone. Thank you for building a community of support and resources to help children and bring smiles to their faces."

"ARC is a family outside our house of caring and loving people who are a phone call or meeting away."
"ARC is a place to go to get information and help to raise the grandchildren "we" I have adopted. The people we meet at the meetings become family because each of us has stories and insights to share. We share hugs, tears, love and understanding as well as food and hand me down clothes. The leaders give and share ideas to help with daily life, school issues, therapy.
We have fun picnics, plays, lunches, and phone calls. I know that I can call anytime day or night and have. When my husband died, the whole group was there for the kids and me and still is.
Thank You ARC ; Sylvie, Pam and group members."

"Thank You so Much to ARC!!
My name is Lucia and I am taking care of my grandson. When I found ARC; it was a great relief for me and my husband because the leaders of this organization gave to us an incredible help, with their support, ideas, on how to resolve the problems that were and still are arising along the way with raising our adopted grandson. I always ask them on how to resolve problems with schools, doctors, etc. Even when I lost my husband they were there for me and I never felt alone going through his passing."
"This group guides us towards solutions for some of our everyday problems and for senior problems. Supportive of emotional things dealing with our being seniors, and dealing with young children. A valuable asset for these newly formed families.
THANK YOU ARC"
"I would like to thank my ARC and The Lighthouse family for helping me and my family during the holidays and this extraordinary time dealing with the virus. "Peggy Scott would like to thank Marilyn, Sylvie from ARC and Lisa from The
Lighthouse for all the wonder things that they did for me and my family.
The Thanksgiving Gift Basket was gorgeous. The 2019 Christmas Party was lots of fun for the children, and they enjoyed their gifts. Thank you for the food during the Covid -19 it was very much appreciated.
I appreciate Sylvie deToledo for all she does to give us transportation and great outings and her dedication to ARC. Plus our facilitator is wonderful showing much love and great assistance to our support group at all times.
Marilyn Brison, May the power for the Holy Spirit move mightily in and through our group."

"Destiny was raised by her grandparents with the help and resources of Sylvie deToledo under her prior organization that she founded in 1987. Destiny and her siblings have known everyone at ARC since they were young children as all the facilitators an most of the members are still the same. When Destiny's grandfather became to ill to take care of her two sisters, the young mother stepped right up despite many emotional and financial hardships. Destiny attributes much of her ability to meet the concrete needs of all of the children under her care to the resources and items she has received from Baby2Baby through ARC. She also heavily relies on ARC for her emotional support. ARC and the people in the organization (staff and members) are one of the few consistent things that she has had over the past 20 years."
"Thank you ARC from the Moreno Family.
The Moreno family had 4 grandchildren when they tried to enter the adoption process, the CSW felt that due to their age and financial restrictions they could not continue the process, the Moreno's were devastated and the children's attorney referred them to Alliance for Children's Rights, who then referred them to us Alliance of Relative Caregivers for support. Since that time they have taken in 3 more children. A total of 7 with 3 adults living in the home. They have struggled so much, but have amazing happy loving grandchildren. They always Thank ARC, Marcie, Baby2Baby, Lisa, The Lighthouse for the blessings"
"No one else can understand the unique family situations and the trials that caregivers go through raising children that have special needs and emotional scars--except another person who is experiencing the same challenges. ARC is a family of people who care about each other and to carry them through each stage of their lives"
